Working with the graphic designer, I could help create a plan to show where all signs are located in an experience. In addition, I would create a list of signs for the project.
Schematic Sign Package
To understand the sizes of signs on a basic level, I could work with a graphic designer to support the development of schematic design sign package.
Concept Design Package
To understand the types of signs, a graphic designer could help create different designs that align with the theme. While at WDI, this was the responsibility of the graphic designer, but my schooling taught me about graphic design and brand development.
Design Development Package
This document is created with a graphic designer to start combining more design details and other manufacturing information.
Contract Document Sign Package
This document is a made with a graphic designer to develop a contract document sign package with all the signs, location plans, and other warranty information. I would think write up a request for proposal and scope of work document that I could use to bid to a sign fabricator.
Shop Drawings, Fabrication, and Install
Once the bid is awarded, I would then review shop drawings, visit the shops, and then coordinate the installation of the signs to follow code and site standards. Then, all the information is documented.
